S/S 2011 Trend : Metallic Gold & Silver

Rodarte Spring/Summer 2011
Kate and Laura Mulleavy make Rodarte spring 2011 collection with a conjures images of the countryside with its array of rich
golds
browns, and pastoral white and blue patterns. They
manage to modernize the look with artful touches, such as cut-out shoulders, structured silhouettes, and a beautiful golden gladiator get-up.
Ralph Lauren Spring/Summer 2011
It was clear we were headed for the wild, wild West from Ralph Lauren’s collection. The combination of metallic silver and chocolate brown that Ralph Lauren did for several of the outfits look very versatile and gorgeous. He was firmly in control of his material, and it was a smooth gallop from start to finish.
Ruffian Spring/Summer 2011
The Ruffian boys were aiming for a strong collection rooted in the tradition of gallant female characters. This translated to lots of military jackets with square pockets and gold buttons. It
give us with the perfect prerogative to flaunt our flashy and gaudy ensembles both for semi- as well as
formal occasions.
Elie Tahari Spring/Summer 2011
Classic American sportswear with the balance between business, beach and glamour was perfect and the collection as a whole is very wearable. It’s always fun to see some over-the-top designs. Business mixed with sex appeal and splashes of chartreuse, gold, grass green and baby blue were a much needed spicy addition.
