S/S 2011 Trend : 70's Glam

| Louis Vuitton S/S 2011 |
Louis Vuitton turned to another decade for inspiration of the 70s. Marc Jacob borrowed the long dresses as well as the kitsch patterns and textures. The hairdos also bear a 70s touch, being side slicked. These are combined with glamorous make-up that emphasizes both the eyes and the dark red lips.

| Gucci S/S 2011 |

Gucci opened Milan Fashion Week Spring 2011 with a virtuoso display of equestrian style, 1970’s fashion, vivid color and tribal-inspired beading. Gucci’s creative director, Frida Giannini said that clothes were designed for “modern amazons; an intellectual tribe of exotic women, seen through an urban lens.
| Marc Jacobs S/S 2011 |
Marc Jacobs Spring 2011 Collection flaunted at New York Fashion Week Spring 2011 was inspired by ’70s. He is the first to use it to create this kind of joyful overflow of colorsThis is without bringing up the more or less obvious references throughout the
show to the heroine of Taxi Driver.
| Salvatore Ferragamo S/S 2011 |
Salvatore Ferragamo was inspired by Jacques Deray's late-sixties movie La Piscine which is by the beach, the fragnant sea breeze. Natural and elegant, the collection made by Massimiliano Giornetti combines a wardrobe which is free spirited with the softness of silk and suede.
