Resort 2011 Report

Christian Dior
The collection looks very pretty, feminine and luxurious. Expensive materials incorporated into chic outfits with plenty of tiny cute details gave unforgettable impression. Jean-Paul Belmondo-inspired three-piece suit was a completely biyish apparel but it looked nice on the model
Chanel
Karl Lagerfeld is no stranger to using pink in his Chanel lines. But for this collection, the otherwise soft color took on a more saturated and thick character. Paired with other pastels, like baby blue and mint green, the color palette with cool as a cumcumber and sweet at cotton candy.
Jason Wu
The Jason Wu hair look for Resort 2011 is a slightly tousled, modernized braid that is both innocent and sexy. The freshness of the braid complements the romantic florals and pretty plaids in Jason’s collection.
Oscar de la Renta
The collection is very typical for the brand very classic, feminine and chic. But the designer couldn’t send his models down the runway without something that would differenciate his creations from all the others.
Yves Saint Laurent
The Yves Saint Laurent Resort 2011 collection is very specific and sticks to traditional YSL style. Pieces are all classic and versatile but they do have a contemporary twist. Prints are mostly moderate and look pretty
Donna Karan
Donna Karan collection depended mainly on women suits and tailleurs for day wear and work elegance, while long and short drapey dresses were kept for evenings. The suits came in a simple style consisting of two piece suits with a thin elegant belt
